Mission

The Mission of the NIAID NIMH BSSPT is to:

1. Enhance the integration of behavioral and social sciences in HIV biomedical clinical research using multiple communication tools including an information-based website, brochures, and workshops;
2. Strengthen the impact of behavioral and social sciences in HIV biomedical clinical research by engaging behavioral and social sciences researchers, clinicians and other stakeholders;
3. Collaborate with all stakeholders (researchers, sponsors, participants, and communities) to improve existing knowledge on risk assessment tools, adherence intervention approaches, and community stakeholder engagement strategies.
