This is the Portuguese language version of the training tools based on the Web-based module on the same topic and is the third of the five-part Transgender Training Curriculum for HIV Research. It provides a brief review of gender-related concepts and terminology covered in the first module, emphasizes the need for transgender inclusion in HIV research, and discusses how increased staff understanding and responsiveness, the physical environment, and research study design can lead to more gender-affirming spaces.
